I had the privilege of redesigning the website for Irish Waterski and Wakeboard Federation, whose mission is to promote, support, and expand Towed Watersports on the island of Ireland and to support athletes in competitions both nationally and internationally. The objective was to create a modern, user-friendly platform that effectively communicates the organisation's mission, initiatives, and impact.
Challenges:
The primary challenge was to revamp the outdated website while preserving the organisation's identity and brand. Additionally, ensuring seamless navigation and accessibility across various devices and screen sizes was crucial to enhancing user experience.
Approach:
Collaborating closely with the IrWWF, I developed a comprehensive design strategy focused on simplicity, sustainability, and engagement. The website needs to be updated quite regularly by various team members, and so design elements needed to be created with that in mind.

Added a Club finding tool: The ability for users to search for a club in their county/area and find the relevant contact details was important.
Calendar feature: The organisation required a user-friendly way to showcase events, including competitions, leagues, and community-focused open days.
